About

A woman with long blonde hair walks along a rocky path through a desert-like landscape with bushes and shrubs, under a cloudy sky.

Hi! I’m Abby.

Friendly, fun loving and a fierce believer in our ability to create a fairer and kinder world.

With over a decade of experience teaching yoga and nearly two decades as a Neuro Speech & Language Therapist, I guide from lived experience of healing, resilience, remembering and returning to the truth and wisdom of breath and body.

I don’t offer the self-serving ‘love & light’ version of “wellness”, which has lead us far from living well. I know how to observe and listen. I’m self-assured and try to live my morals. I’m discerning about who I learn from, where I teach, and who I align myself with. I also acknowledge the privileges I carry; white, able-bodied, straight and I take responsibility for how I show up in this space, always aiming to do so with humility and care.

My yoga classes aren’t about chasing perfection or performing postures. They’re about coming home to your body with curiosity, care and without judgement. I teach with presence, intuition, and a deep respect for the traditional roots of yoga, while also integrating anatomy-informed, nervous system-informed and inclusive approaches.

My values

  • Integrity over image

  • Access over exclusivity

  • Awareness over avoidance

I love strength training and being in nature with my dog. I am quite the bird nerd! I’m inspired by the women leading the way with decolonising the yoga and wellness industry, such as Susanna Barkataki and Satu Yoga.
